USING ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY TO BACK THE EVOLUTION® MEDIAL-PIVOT KNEE

  • Pixee Knee+ is an augmented reality solution that can be paired with the Evolution® Medial-Pivot Knee to assist orthopedic surgeons intraoperatively during a Total Knee Arthroplasty procedure.
  • The cutting planes are oriented with respect to the mechanical axes of the patient and are calculated by using anatomical landmarks.
  • The camera of the augmented reality glasses allows for the 3D localization of instruments, which are equipped with QR-code markers.
  • The surgeon’s perception of the operating area is enhanced with essential information provided in real time and in his direct field of view.
