Procotyl® L Hip System

The Procotyl® L acetabular cup system has integrated several design features to address long term survivorship. The intrinsic design features that address contemporary two-piece acetabular cup issues, coupled with multiple liner configurations, make the Procotyl® L acetabular cup system the choice for surgeons requiring a wide range of primary, revision and bearing material options.

Design features

Optimal outer geometry
- Hemispherical, single-radius shape with a flattened dome combined with a 14° rim flare that transfers the load to the periphery of the acetabulum
Optimal fixation surface
- 30% porous titanium beaded coating to enhance initial fixation and long term bone apposition
Multiple liner options
- 18° internal taper and a rim-locking groove accept Biolox® Delta Ceramic Liners or A-Class® highly cross-linked polyethylene liners
Surgical flexibility
- 3 pre-closed fixation holes in one quadrant allow for additional screw fixation if needed
