Profemur® Z revision hip stem
Zweymüller stem philosophy
A fourth generation of the Zweymueller design, the Profemur® Z revision stem is designed with additional length compared to its primary option (+40mm) in order to promote distal fixation in revision cases. The stem possesses a rectangular cross section and prominent lateral shoulder designed to facilitate rotational stability. The softer edges on the medial calcar area are designed to minimize stresses and risk of bone fracture during stem insertion.
